I may not look like your “typical” healthy lifestyle-er and to be honest I like it that way. Ironically, I have worked in the fitness industry my whole life… in the background. I was the cheerleader to all, the behind the scenes one keeping it all together and the overall wallflower. I’ve been told far too many times that I don’t have the typical body type to give advice on being healthy, and nobody would take me seriously. Unfortunately, I listened to it, until now.
So why now? Well besides the fact that I just genuinely enjoy helping people, I want to prove those wrong who never believed in me. I want to show people that just because I look a certain way or better yet don’t… I am strong and I am worthy. I have a unique perspective and a special skill set by just observing all these years.
I have been through the ringer with my nutrition too. A lifelong struggle with food literally trying to take me out. Food intolerances and borderline allergies have stunted my progress with my fitness goals. I finally got that under control and I’m ready to share all that I have learned. On top of all that I recently got diagnosed with POTS. I knew I had it but it was nice to hear a doctor confirm it. I have deep dove into the condition and how to manage it and have already helped many who have it. I would love to help you on your journey too!
In addition to sharing my knowledge in health and nutrition I make all natural skincare products. I was set to rid my life of toxic products which led me to create my own. From Tallow lotions to laundry detergent and everything in between. If you want it chances are I have it!
Hi, I’m Dani…Danielle…D… DD or any of the many nicknames I go by 😊
The meaning behind Willow Root Health…
Willow trees are incredibly strong and live long healthy lives. They’re beautiful yet tough and can grow deep roots from a single seedling. Willow trees are seen as survivors and is often a symbol of rebirth. In ancient China, they are believed to ward off evil. As for the root part, to me it symbolizes being rooted to nature. I love nature and when I get overwhelmed, I ground myself by feeling the earth on my feet. Plus, I have always loved Willow trees (thanks My Girl) Most of all I truly believe that a majority of our health issues can be cured or improved by proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.
