Oatmeal Cookies

Wet Ingredients

1/2 cup vegan butter (I use country crock plant-based butter)

3 tablespoons maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla

1tablespoon nondairy milk of choice

Dry ingredients

1 1/2 cup rolled oats

1 cup all-purpose flour (I use king Arthurs)

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

Preheat oven 350 degrees

add rolled oats, flour, baking soda. salt and cinnamon to a mixing bowl and mix

cream butter and brown sugar together then add maple syrup and vanilla and mix

mix dry ingredients into the wet until the mixture is very crumbly

add in milk and see if you can form dough into a ball. it will be a little crumbly but once formed it will be very sticky

put cookie balls onto a greased pan or parchment paper

bake for 10-12 minutes or until desired consistency is reached

let cool and enjoy!
